A city space open to Murdoch alumni

City-office-feature

Murdoch University, working in partnership with our partner Spacecubed, offers our Perth-based alumni the opportunity to work and access training in our teaching and events space in the Perth CBD.

Located at 32 St Georges Terrace in the heart of the Perth CBD, the space features seminar, teaching and modern learning areas, hot desks and offices that allow staff, students and alumni to meet and engage in an open and innovative way.

The facility is a great enhancement to Murdoch’s commitment to foster lifelong learning and offers alumni the chance to work quietly in a contemporary modern office space with amazing views in the heart of the city. It is an easily accessible and flexible space designed for learning, connecting and collaboration.

Our partner, Spacecubed, offer an ongoing range of workshops, networking events, training courses and micro-credential options in the city space (and sometimes online) that are open to all alumni. The range of skills on offer is very broad ranging from accelerator programs for entrepreneurs to ESport promotion!

The schedule for the remainder of 2020 includes the following opportunities:

FIFO Happiness Summit Thursday 8 October 2020

A collaboration with Happiness Co. to bring awareness to mental health.

Pitch for talent by Morning Start-up

These are held bi-monthly. Organised by Morning Start-up, it involves 10 WA start-ups pitching to an audience of talented, innovative people, in an effort to convince them to get involved with their start-up. If you're a developer, product designer, community manager, or any other talented individual looking to become a co-founder or early employee of the next Perth-born unicorn, then come along to this session and make contact with the start-ups that interest you the most.

Perth Podcast Week 2020 - Spanning over a week from 11 November

Back for its second year. Running over a week, there is a series of events, workshops and connection opportunities for individuals in the media community, with a mission to showcase and support WA’s thriving, independent media community, and hopefully inspire others to start creating their own content.

To book yourself in to any session, confirm dates, or hear about other upcoming programs, please contact Project Coordinator, Amilia Bakhtiar.
