Take a quick look around the room. Much of what you see was dreamt up or created by an engineer. The wheel and engine are obvious examples, but also consider your air conditioner, concrete floors, batteries, and printed books. Looking forward, engineers are going to be needed to help create a sustainable future for all.

Engineers are inventive and analytical, and able to see the big picture without neglecting the details. They might have a vision, but they have to follow through and keep tinkering until they get it just right. Do you have these qualities in you, too?

It’s a diverse industry, and with so many distinct branches, it can be tough choosing a specialisation! Murdoch's School of Engineering and Energy has plenty of options for engineering study.
