Sound On Festival 2019

Crowds of students gather for Sound On

Five thousand high school students rocked out at Murdoch University’s Sound On Festival at RAC Arena on Saturday 21 September.

Western Australia’s only under-age event for high schoolers presented by Murdoch University, Sound On sported a huge line-up including Peking Duk (DJ set), Ruel, G Flip, Stevan, and FlexMami.

Harnessing the festival’s theme of ‘music and mindfulness’, concert goers were treated to the opportunity to hear from the artists themselves during the Create the Life You Want talk panel.

Led by The Indigo Project, artists shared personal advice and experience on how to how to balance study, stress, and everything in between.

Also on offer were a heap of fun and free experiences including a glitter and hair braiding bar, gaming zone with Murdoch eSports, chill out lounge and photo booths.

To top off the event, festival goers received a VIP Access Pass for the opportunity to view exclusive behind the scenes photo and video before they were released on the Sound On Instagram and Facebook pages, to continue their event experience.
