Smiles all round for families at Wiggle Pop! Big Show at RAC Arena
At the invitation of Murdoch University, families of children’s charity Ronald McDonald House enjoyed the Wiggle Pop! Big Show at RAC Arena.
Guests were entertained by Wiggles favourites such as ‘Do the Propeller!’, ‘E-M-M-A’, ‘Hot Potato’ and ‘Rock-a-Bye Your Bear’, as well as some new hits from the Wiggles Pop! Album.
Ronald McDonald House is an independent charity that helps families of seriously ill children, aiming to keep families together, and close to the healthcare their child needs.
Operations Manager of Ronald McDonald House, Courtney Kennedy, said the guests were very appreciative of the invitation by Murdoch to enjoy the hospitality and entertainment on the day.
“The families are so thankful for the support from organisations like Murdoch, for giving them an opportunity to get away from the hospital environments and appointments and enjoy some family time together,” Ms Kennedy said.
“The kids all returned from their morning out full of smiles and were so grateful to be there.”
In 2017, Murdoch University became the exclusive education partner of RAC Arena, to offer our students, alumni and staff advantages including work-integrated learning programs, careers and priority queue access.
Throughout the year, Murdoch identifies particular events to offer to industry partners, organisations and to charities, to provide them with an opportunity to either enjoy the use of our Corporate Suite, or for them to offer it as an auction item for fundraising.
