Murdoch ranked top Australian university for employment outcomes
Murdoch University has been ranked the top tertiary institution in the country for undergraduate employability, emphasising the importance of a high quality university education for a person’s career prospects.
The 2018 Graduate Outcomes Survey — Longitudinal, Australia’s largest annual survey of higher education graduates in the workforce, shows that 96.7 per cent of Murdoch undergraduates secured employment after three years.
Murdoch University Vice Chancellor Eeva Leinonen applauded the strong employment outcomes achieved by students.
“University graduates bring many benefits not just for themselves but for society at large, as contributors to the economic and social wellbeing of our communities,” Professor Leinonen said.
“At Murdoch University we provide our students with an outstanding education experience and offer all our students the opportunity to learn both disciplinary knowledge and skills that are transferrable to the workplace.
“Through our innovative curriculum, advanced learning and teaching as well as impactful research, our graduates become the critical thinkers fully prepared for their future careers.”
