Murdoch Dubai student represents the UAE at Cannes Lions 2024
Clara Armanious, final year Strategic Communication and Marketing student at Murdoch University Dubai, has been selected to represent the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the prestigious Cannes Lions Roger Hatchuel Academy 2024.
The Roger Hatchuel Academy will see 30 students from around the world participate in a six-day programme in June 2024 to from learn from the world’s greatest brands, creative minds, and industry leaders at Cannes, France.
The announcement was made by Motivate Media Group and Motivate Val Morgan, the official UAE representatives of the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.
Miss Armanious said since she was a young girl, her world has been filled with passion for creativity and communication —from drawing in her notebooks to capturing moments through her camera lens.
“I always had a passion for communicating and connecting with people. If you had told me that this is what I would be doing, I would not have believed it,” she said.

Dr James Trotter, Dean and Academic President at Murdoch University Dubai congratulated Miss Armanious on her achievements.
