Prior to her appointment at Murdoch, Professor Taylor was Deputy Dean at the University of Technology Sydney Business School. Her previous roles include Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning), Associate Dean (Postgraduate) and Head, Graduate School of Business.
She has also held Chair and Deputy Chair roles with the Australian Business Dean’s Council International Network.

Professor Taylor will begin her role at Murdoch in October, but will be visiting regularly ahead of formally commencing work as Dean.
“I am delighted to be joining Murdoch and the newly formed College of Arts, Business, Law & Social Sciences,” Professor Taylor said.
“I aim to build on the Murdoch Business School’s recent successes and initiatives to position Murdoch as the university of choice for business education in Western Australia.
“I look forward to providing strong leadership to support the delivery of outstanding education, impactful research and meaningful stakeholder engagement that makes significant and lasting contributions to benefit business and the greater community.”
Murdoch University Pro Vice Chancellor Professor Grant O’Neill said Murdoch was pleased to appoint Professor Taylor into this important strategic role for the University.
“One of our strategic priorities is to develop a strong business and industry facing Business School, and in Tracy we have found an academic leader of significant pedigree to help us sustainably grow our industry links and develop the right learning experiences for our students,” Professor O’Neill said.
“As a foremost sport management scholar, Tracy’s experience in research leadership will also be invaluable to Murdoch.”News
