Moonlit Movie Magic at Murdoch

Experience the magic of outdoor cinema at Murdoch University’s South Street Campus this summer, thanks to our collaboration with Telethon Community Cinemas.
Telethon Community Cinemas is Perth’s family-friendly, affordable community outdoor cinema, proudly donating all of its profits to charities improving the quality of life of kids in a health or physical ability crisis. More than 700 volunteers run the event each summer and to date over $9 million has been raised.
In previous years, donations have been made to Horsepower Swan Valley, Cahoots, Make A Wish, Edmund Rice Camps and Rebound WA among others.
A secluded grassed area behind Building 122 will once again be transformed into an enchanting, al fresco movie theatre from Thursday, December 12 until Saturday, April 4 playing host to a variety of exceptional films which will appeal to Perth film lovers of all ages.
We are delighted that Murdoch University has again decided to welcome the local community to enjoy the campus and experience the joy of outdoor cinema on beautiful Perth summer evenings.

With its breathtaking trees and rich green surrounds all adding to the ambience, Murdoch is the perfect setting to enjoy movies on the lawn. Bean bag lounges can be hired in advance and there will be a variety of food and drink on offer too.
Ample free parking is available on site in car park 1 at the University, just off South Street. Alternatively, the public transport links to Murdoch University are excellent.
