More than 1,000 students have graduated from Murdoch’s Dubai campus since its inception in 2008, following graduation celebrations.

On 17 November, 143 students, including 56 Master degree recipients joined the growing alumni network at graduation celebrations in Dubai.

They make a total of 612 postgraduates and 428 undergraduates who have graduated from Murdoch’s Dubai campus.

Dubai Dean James Trotter said the wonderful celebration for the 2018 graduates marked an exciting time for the student and Murdoch University’s future in the United Arab Emirates.

“Successfully completing a high quality Murdoch University degree will provide our graduates with a fantastic foundation from which to achieve their life goals, both professional and personal,” Dr Trotter said.

“In 2018, Murdoch University and Navitas entered into a 15 year partnership for the operation of the Murdoch Dubai campus. On the basis of this partnership, the University will bring an exciting range of new courses to our Dubai campus.

“We will also be expanding our industry linkages, so that we can provide our students with a range of new internship and work placement opportunities to ensure they will be ready for the fast-changing world of work in the 21st century.”

Dr Trotter wished the class of 2018 well, and looked forward to catching up with their successes at future alumni events.
